In an EMERGENCY, seconds count!

It's the law. Every residence and business in Granville County is required to post its address so that it is clearly visible from the highway or road.

Take a look at your house or business and ask yourself... "Could someone find me if I needed help?"

You are required to post house numbers:

  • on the front of your house
  • at the entrance to your driveway
on a mailbox or on a separate sign
  • so that they are visible from all directions
  • numbers must be at least three (3) inches high
  • on a contrasting background color
(example - white numbers on a black background)
  • If we can't find you,
    we can't help you!
